RIFF Festival In Jodhpur You Must Not Miss!

Rajasthan International Folk Festival (RIFF) is organised every year at Jodhpur. It took place in the month of October, 2014 this time.

More than 250 musicians and artists from India and overseas countries come together to celebrate and create Rajasthan’s musical heritage.

I could get the opportunity to attend this festival on its last day. The last day performance was started around 5 AM at Jashwanth Thada next to the Mehrangarh Fort.

Many visitors booked a cab or Auto-rickshaw one night before the event and others reached on foot by taking a morning walk.

There was Sufi music for almost two hours. Everyone enjoyed the sun rise and the Sufi music with a cup of tea. To me, it was a lifetime experience. I strongly recommend this festival to all the travelers.  Enjoy the photographs!
